Viva Las Vegans!

We're thrilled to welcome you to the entertainment capital of the world!
Thank you for including Vegas VegFest in your vacation plans. Over the years many of our visitors have traveled from out-of-state to join us. Here are answers to some of the top questions that we receive.

Where should I stay?

Great news! The Las Vegas Valley is much smaller than you may realize. You can stay virtually anywhere in it and be a maximum of 35 minutes from the Vegas VegFest venue.

Many visitors to Vegas choose to stay on "The Strip"; however, another great option is to stay in the older part of Vegas on Fremont Street. Fremont Street hotels are approximately one mile away.

For more affordable options, look for non-casino hotels. Those establishments may not charge a "resort fee" and have more reasonable room rates. Hotels in nearby Henderson are frequently less expensive than those closer to the casino resort/hotels.

Caution: There are many illegal AirB&Bs in Las Vegas. We don't recommend them as an option unless you are certain that your host has all of the correct permits and permissions to run an AirB&B.

How do I get there?

If you have not driven to Vegas or rented a vehicle, you will want to take a taxi or use rideshare to get to us. If using rideshare, please be mindful that you are getting in the appropriate car, and never accept a "rideshare" unless you have used an app to request a ride. There are some unscrupulous folks out there offering illegal rides and you could find yourself out cash and a ride if you get in one.

While some hotels are technically in walking distance, you wouldn't find the walk overly pleasant and it's frequently quite hot in the desert -- particularly for visitors! We do not recommend walking to our event.

Driving? Don't worry! We have ample FREE parking at our venue.

Is it easy to get to the festival from the airport?

Yes! Taxis, rideshares, and rental cars are all located close to the airport. From that region, you can expect it to take 20-30 minutes to make your way to the event.

What do I eat when I'm not at Vegas VegFest?

We've got you covered! Visit our list of 100% vegan restaurants located across the valley.

Seriously...how hot is it going to be?!

For folks not used to it, and even for locals who are, Vegas can be hot. There is every possibility that the middle of the day will feature temperatures in the 90s, and yes -- we are an outdoor festival. If you suspect that you will want cooling, we recommend purchasing one of our Indoor Seating tickets so that you have a place to escape the heat periodically.

We recommend wearing sunblock, light clothing, a hat, and sunglasses, and bringing a cooling towel. You may bring your own water onsite. Whether bringing your own or buying onsite, please do keep yourself hydrated. The infamous "dry heat" of Vegas will dehydrate you MUCH faster than you are used to if you are not from a desert environment. In fact, even if you don't find it especially hot, be extra mindful of your hydration needs.
